Those of you who pop in regularly will have noted that I have not made very many posts over the last week.
Last weekend I attended a hen party which was great fun and so understandably I was unable to blog or post that weekend. We went to Bristol, UK and took part in some 'farmer games' such as welly wanging and a cider run (no cider involved, sadly).
I came home Sunday afternoon thoroughly exhausted and was in bed and asleep by 9.30pm!
On Monday I got some devastating news about my Mum, she has been diagnosed with womb and stomach cancer and although we have been told that the outlook is good, writing and blogging has been far from my mind.
My Mum is the cement which holds our family together and so the thought of her being unwell has knocked us all for six. However, she is stubborn, strong and she is above all else a fighter. I have no doubt that she will be here to give me a firm kick up the bum for many, many years to come.
So on that note, I suppose I better get some writing done before she starts nagging me to read the next part of The Visitor!
