I am now six A4 pages and 3,000 words into my latest novel. I don't think people realise how much time and hard work goes into pouring your heart and soul into something like this, how exposed it leaves you feeling once you click that button and publish it for the whole world to see; it's disheartening when people don't/won't spend a few pence on what had potentially taken you days, weeks, months or sometimes years to create and then have ready to release. How hard it is to realise that sometimes even your closest friends and some family members don't bother to get behind you and support you, even when they know that you would get behind them and support them without question.
Excuse me if I seem to be ranting, or even annoying to you. But please, put yourself in my shoes, and the shoes of others like me. Exposed but unsupported, except for a precious few.
